ABOUT US

Laura - I started dancing when a friend told me he was putting on a dance show and asked me to contribute two dance routines to it. I had never done anything like that before and was excited by the challenge. Those two routines were truly dreadful but being on that stage, dancing, was such a thrill. I was totally addicted right then. I went on from that to produce much better routines in a group called XA dancers  which Severina was also a member of.  It was Sev who convinced me to break away and start our own troupe. I was reluctant at first but her tenacity and persistence won me over. And so Debauche was born and I will forever be grateful to Sev for not giving up on me

Severina - I was asked by Laura to dance with her in a few routines she choreographed for the dance troupe she was then in called X-A dancers. 
 After spending time, watching Laura i soon became aware of her talents which for me were not being fully used.
 Laura is by far the most talented choreographer i have seen and was just for my thinking being wasted. X-A dancers are great at what they do but only having a show once or twice every three months is not enough for what i wanted and i hoped Laura either
 After a lot of talking, convincing eventually Laura agreed to give it ago. She came up with the name Debauche and our first show was at rez day party and we are lucky not to look back since

And that is how Debauche began. We have grown since then, both in dancers and definitely in strength. We all love what we do.
